Ella Belle giggled at the photographer, giving away her secret, but he was too late.
Bits of the gooey teething biscuit he'd so cavalierly snatched from her tiny fingers earlier were now firmly wedged into the crevasses of the camera's shutter box.
Ella was sure that he would think twice before exhibiting such boorish behavior again.
Sweet Ella Belle is paper, paint and glitter on canvas board in shades of rich, aged and moldy blues. Her sweet message is held in a tiny flip booklet pinned to the side of her painting. Crystal buttons, glass glitter, seam tape and an old stereo view of a French garden scene illustrate that Bella is a cherished child, living a rich and happy life.

I LOVE the layering, the depth of this piece... you can look at it, think you see all that is there, and then need to look again--- and sure enough you've missed something. Very nicely done.
